The first train arrived on September 16, 2024, after departing from Małaszewicze two days earlier. It carried a range of consumer goods, reflecting the high demand for rail-based logistics solutions between China and Europe. Following the arrival ceremony, a train with 44 containers departed Duisburg for China. This connection strengthens Duisburg’s role as a key hub in the Belt and Road Initiative, offering faster transit and increased capacity for Europe-Asia trade.
